Mr Rai discussed all options of care, he provided advantages, disadvantages and risks and benefits to help me make an informed decision. I didn't feel rushed and was provided with leaflets to leave clinic with to further read and summarise. I felt at ease during the consultation and I felt I was in control of my own care. I would highly recommend Mr Rai he is knowledgeable, caring, considerate, respectful and promotes patient choice. Thank you for setting such a high standard of care.

I liked his straight, direct approach to me. He explained things very clearly, which made my decision, of three options, easy to make. I liked him, he made me feel at ease, especially during a personal examination.

I could not fault the care given by Mr Rai in any way whatsoever . He was very caring , patient and listened .The following is a comment regarding the hospitals new practice which is out of his control .... It is very frustrating though that the hospitals new system of not having patient notes at the clinic appointment doesn't seem to work . His previous notes from 5 years ago were not on the computer but could have easily have been found in the old paper patient notes. This can obviously lead to a waste of time for both Dr & patient which could easily be avoided . I also consider this to be a dangerous practice & hope that the management can see that that some implemented changes are not always a step forward ..

My whole experience with Mr Rai and his team was excellent, he listened to me. I cannot Thank Mr Rai enough, the surgery he performed has been life changing for me. He went through the surgery in detail explaining all possible outcomes and made arrangements in case I had difficulty afterwards. Examinations and all relevant testing was done quickly. From initial consultation to surgery took only a matter of weeks. Appointments came through quickly and reception staff offered cancellations which reduced the waiting time. The nurses carrying out the tests were great, friendly and professional and again explained everything in detail. The urology nurse Gissie was very helpful and also patient. When she put me on the waiting list for surgery by the time I arrived home admissions had been on the phone offering me a date for surgery which was a short wait. The whole team, anaesthetists, and day case team were lovely. I felt well cared for, and safe. Many Thanks to you all.
